Craig used to work for Glass Research Company as a security guard. However, was also working for the local lion pride to rescue shifters being held by Glass. Can he make a new life after his final rescue attempt while staying with the local wolf pack?
After his last rescue effort that brought Gillham pack alpha mate Zach home, Craig has decided to stick around the wolf pack in order to disappear from his former employers. He has developed a special friendship with Jago, the elephant shrew shifter that was among the last of his rescues. During a pack gathering in which the nearby lion pride is also invited, both men notice a man walking from the woods. Craig could see himself in bed with the man if it weren’t for the cheesy moustache the man has.
Thomas is a member of the inner circle of the Gillham pack. His pack alpha Kameron has noticed that Thomas has not been behaving normally the last few months. To get his mind off his troubles, Kameron assigns Thomas to befriend the human Craig in order to convince the man to make the pack a permanent home. It would not be so bad except that he gets jealous whenever Jago is hanging around Craig. After meeting the man, Thomas realizes that Craig is his fated mate. There are only two complications. Craig seems to already have a boyfriend in Jago and Thomas has a wife and family. Thomas must decide whether he wants to fight for his mate and possibly break several hearts in the process or walk away and have his broken instead. When Thomas sees what appears to be kiss between Craig and Jago in the pack house, Thomas takes an action that answers his question. But what will be the ramifications of it?
This is the third book in Catherine Lievens’ Gillham Pack series. She does a nice job in bringing a minor character in the previous book and gives him the main story in the next. Thomas must deal with his marriage that has been falling apart for a while before Craig ever shows on the scene. He must also deal with his brother who does not understand how after years of marriage Thomas decides to mate with a man. The scenes with Thomas’s son Eli talking to both his father and Craig are heart warming. I am looking forward to seeing where the author takes the story.
The cover art by Latrisha Waters shows the shirtless torso of a well build man who is wearing blue jeans along with a wolf howling. It fits the motif of other books in the series.
Craig knew his job rescuing shifters from the Glass Research Company had a limited time. He has rescued so many that he can no longer go back. Now he is not sure what to do with his life. Then Kameron offered him a job with the pack. But can he fit in and live happily with a pack of shifters?
Thomas had a comfortable life with his wife and children. Then Kameron ruined everything. He decides to try and keep everything the same. That plan is working until Craig enters the picture. He realizes that Craig is his mate but he does not want to have Craig. Unfortunately, he cannot resist. He knows he must because accepting Craig into his live means disrupting so any others.
Thomas was so mean in the beginning to Craig. He was trying, unsuccessfully to keep him out of his life. Thomas has a comfortable if not so satisfying life with the woman his former alpha arranged for him. With Kameron in charge he is free to acknowledge his true sexuality but cannot bring himself to hurt his family. Thomas is really hurting, but knows he cannot last much longer. Craig is not sure what to think of this man who hot and cold with him. Is there any hope for these two?
Catherine Lievens is an incredible author. She continues the series and keeps each book fresh as well as refreshing. In Craig, we see upheaval not only with rescued shifters but also on the home front. Th9omas will need to be incredibly brave to have his mate. Pick Craig and hop on for the ride as controversy is the name of the game. Another fantastic story.

Great read and so were one and two gillham pack books. Will be reading more books by this author.
I'm glad Craig had a mate but this one was a little boring I liked the book but I could take or leave it unlike Zach s book I was glad I read it and would read it again.
This was book 3 in the "Gillham Pack" series. This book was not as good as the first book or the second one in the series. Craig has rescued his last shifters from the Glass Research Company. He knew he wouldn’t have been able to do it for long, but now he’s at a loss about what to do with his life. Thomas had a comfortable life, at least until Kameron beat the old Alpha now his life is confusing he has been married for twenty years and has two kids. Turns out he and Laura are not mates and they were forced to marry. Thomas is also gay and was afraid to come out because he didn't want to be shunned and kick out of the pack so he stayed married, but now with a lot of the pack members coming out and Kameron being mated to Zach he can no longer continue living the lie and on top of that he has met his mate Craig. This was an okay read the pack members like Duncan have noticed that Thomas has been acting strange they know its something going on. Craig can't understand what Thomas problem is when he first seen him he was glaring at him because Jargo was holding his hand they are just friends but Thomas thinks that something is going on and when he thinks that they have kissed he claims him in front of others and without Craig knowing that that they are mates. Thomas had a lot of emotions he knew someone was going to get hurt and his son Elias helped him see that he has been hurting himself for 20 years. His wife Laura was somewhat understanding she knew that they weren't mates but she was angry because he didn't tell her he was gay. This was an ok read and I would have liked more sex scenes. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
